Passport to Boise is a program offered in partnership with the Re:purpose Initiative and local area businesses. The Re:purpose Initiative was created to help leverage the collective knowledge of our business community for the benefit of society.
Through the Passport to Boise program our mission is to give kids between second and 12th grade the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities in the hopes that this exposure will get them excited to learn more about the vast world around them.
The way we do this is by offering a series of fun and exciting workshops, learning experiences, courses, events, and more to these children and hosted by members of the business community.
These activities are offered across the Treasure Valley with multiple dates, times, and locations for each activity.
The Passport Book
By joining the passport program, your child will be given a small journal that lists the various activities that will be offered during the summer.
There will be more than 50 different activities your child can participate in that involve the:
- and more.
As your child completes the various activities over the course of the summer he/she will have their journal stamped by the participating business. Your child can complete as many or as few activities as your schedule permits. Each activity is designed to not only be highly educational, but also fun and engaging.
