- Are you a business owner or employer here in the Treasure Valley?
- Are you looking for a way to give back to the community and make a positive impact on society?
- We would love for you to be involved with Passport to Boise!
There are two basic ways to participate…
1) Participating Business
We are continually in the search for local businesses that would be willing to host various workshops at their place of business, typically during the summer months.
If you have a particular skill or could offer a workshop on a particular topic, then we would love to have you on board.
Some of our participating businesses have offered workshops or courses on:
- music lessons (guitar, drums, etc.)
- culinary arts
- robot building
- starting a business with a hobby
- and many more.
You are limited only by your imagination.
If your idea is fun, educational, and can be geared towards children between the ages of 8 and 17 then we would love to hear from you.
Please fill out our short intake form and someone from our office will get in touch with you within 24 hours.
2) Community Partners
Our goal is to never deny a child the opportunity to experience Passport to Boise because of family financial limitations. That means we will offer scholarships to children who want to participate, but cannot afford to do so.
If you would like to help a child in need then you can donate the cost of the Passport and we will pass that along to children on the wait list.
Additionally, when you purchase 4 or more Passport Books then you will have access to our Re:purpose program for business owners. This unique program is designed to give high level training to you and your staff on a variety of topics. Training that would include areas of sales/marketing, HR practices (hiring, training, etc.), finance (Quickbooks, tax strategies, etc.), and many more. For more information on this program please visit www.repurposeinitiative.org.
